My husband and I are relatively new in the area and after discovering Mike & Kathy's Good Old Days, we have stopped out to have dinner a few times. We had supper tonight (New Year's Eve) which was wonderful! The filet has been delious every time! We understand Good Old Days ownership is changing ownership, and want to say thanks to the current owners for the delicious food we've enjoyed and hope the new owners good luck.

Sunday brunch is amazing as well as daily specials you'll love eating and looking out at lake Puckaway

The food was great! We stopped in from the campground multiple times during the 4th of July. The bartender Linda was awesome. She ran her butt off and was super nice.

FANTASTIC AYCE fish and chicken on Friday nights! Served family style with coleslaw, boasted taters, German potato salad, baked beans, and rye bread. Very reasonably priced, with a nice view of the lake. You can dine indoors of out. There can be a wait, and the seating can be a bit tight, but you won't mind once you take a bite!

Was threatened by one of the female bartenders who was off the clock for disagreeing with her and than she said she would punch me btw I was very very respectful the whole time however I said if she punched me I would call the cops for assault the male bartender said he would pretend he didn’t see anything absolutely disgusting horrendous behavior worst bar I have ever been too and that’s coming from someone who wanted to like it do not go
Log cabin down the road has much better service the fact she hasn’t beeen fired is beyond me and just for everyone’s fyi her name is Linda

Great food,Great Value Nice view of the lake.We had the all you can Eat chicken wings on Wednesday what a Super Deal Great service, old fashioned quality. Had the breakfast brunch buffet on Sunday .Just too many choices, all good ?

Worst experience I have ever had. We went with friends out to eat 3 of us ordered steaks 2 t-bones and a sirloin. 1 t-bone and the sirloin med-well and 1 t-bone med-raw. We received our baked potatoes and French fries about 20 minutes before our food. Yes you were right when our meal arrived was all cold. But that was not the most disappointing part when the steaks arrived the 2 med-well the were very charred to the point of looking burnt and was extremely dry and crispy. The med raw was more like a med-well. When we mentioned it to our waitress she told us that is how it is when you order well done. Wait none of us ordered well done. Then she went onto tell us anytime you are ordering above med this is what you get. Then she said let me go get the owner. So in the middle of this dining room she can and just unleashed. Well I did not lose my temper and she must have finally realized it. She told me her husband was the cook and she's not backing down. We then went to tell her how our waitress ended up spilling a glass of dew and just kinda acted like it was nothing. And I still don't know why there were no grill marks and she even went and told us we should go somewhere else. We will never be going back.

Saturday Prime Rib is the best ever

Every year we go on vacation and usually come on Saturdays for the prime rib and the salad bar and soup bar. This year we came on Friday and unfortunately they did not have the amazing soup and salad bar up and running. But we did have really good ribs and the Friday night special fish and chicken. All you can eat was amazing. There were eight of us and the kids had the chicken fingers and fries. The German potato salad is so good and the beans. We will come again for the fish fry for sure on Friday. Next time we go up. The place was a little warm but then it was hot outside and service was good as could be with them being so busy. Everybody's friendly there and great atmosphere.
