Our server Allen was exceptional! What a great personality!! He did a great job at explaining the food options and they tasted as good as he described. He really made us feel like valued customers, almost like family. He's a real gem. So glad we tried Smokin' Oak BBQ and we will definitely be back on our next trip to Montello. I love good barbecue, and after driving by several times and smelling the smoke, we finally got a chance to stop and try the food. We ordered a half rack of ribs, baked beans, mac & cheese w/cornbread.
The ribs were great. The sides could use a little tweaking but were good, and the cornbread was very good. Definitely worth the time. Very nice inside, and our waiter was excellent, we will definitely be back to try the brisket and pulled chicken/pork.

The beer selection is good. And others in our party had drinks and other food items. All raved about the food. Really hope to make it back there again soon.
