Stopped by for breakfast today while everyone else was closed on Labor Day. What a pleasant surprise! The corned beef hash was delicious. It had big chunks of corned beef that made the dish very hearty and satisfying.

Food was mediocre, nothing to write home about. My ribeye was cooked as requested but had zero seasonings & flavor. Omlette was bland. The bacon in the omlette had old taste,like going bad. I've had bacon taste like this in several places over the years at various restaurants. The staff was all nice, the few locals were very friendly. Most likely, I will try different places on my next few trips through there. Road construction brought me through this area.

Typical diner atmosphere. We unfortunately stopped when a family had a screaming child nearby. Tables arriving after us received their food first. Wait staff was attentive & friendly. Food was OK but we've had better at other diners. Fair price. No cards accepted here.

We came for breakfast from out of town. The menu is large and it's got a large space for seating many. Great food nice dinner counter to sit at also. Very friendly staff and seems to be a popular local spot to eat. Again also very nice people. The food its self was cooked and delivered in moments of one another. Making a great fresh hot food to order.

My husband and I don’t live in Montello but we do have a little house on the lake we come to a couple times in the summer time. Everytime we come up we go to Sparks. Food is great, very friendly staff and the atmosphere is wonderful.

We dined there yesterday and ordered the all you can eat fish and the walleye plate. Very good, did not have to wait long for the food to arrive Both waitresses were friendly and the owner also. We will be going back

Owner is in the wrong business! The waitresses were very nice, but the owner is in the wrong business! I tried speaking with him behind the counter and he not only wouldn't answer me but totally ignored me! Why are you in the hospitality business if don't like people? I feel bad for the waitress I had if she has to deal with this guy every day, I know I won't go back.
