Mercantile & Bean is a favorite coffee shop in the area, known for amazing service and great food. Their chai lattes are a must-try, and the chicken salad on a croissant is delicious. The baristas are friendly, and the Chai Tea Latte is always perfect. While there could be more indoor seating, the outdoor seating with umbrellas is a nice touch. The golden milk latte and Iced Vanilla Latte with Honey and Cinnamon are personal favorites, and the Ham Croissant is really good. With a cozy atmosphere and friendly staff, it's a great spot to enjoy delicious coffee, fresh baked homemade pastries like Raspberry bars and glazed cake donuts, and local farm goods. They offer many organic foods and drinks, along with specialty items like candles, rolling pins, and local meats. The chocolate cake with mocha buttercream frosting is moist and perfectly balanced.
