Cute, quaint restaurant with super friendly servers. Food was hot, and tasty. Side salads were a nice size with a variety of toppings. Friday fish fry was light and flakey. Only complaint about The Local was sound levels making it hard to hear your table mates. It looks like the owners put pads on the ceiling to absorb noise, but they were not very effective. Besides that , The Local is a must check out, just bring your loud voice or take the food to go. Parking is a bit limited...

I discovered the local after a fishing trip on Little Muskego. I love the bar. I love the food. I love the atmosphere. Parking can be challenging at times, but if you’re lucky you’ll get a spot! It is definitely worth it!

Not your average pub food.

This place was awesome. The appetizers we ordered were the wings and curds, bith were top notch. The curds were among some of the best I’ve had, 5/5. Wings were also killer.

My wife ordered the fish fry which was great 5/5, with the potato pancakes being a stand out.

I ordered the Nashville hot chicken which was just okay; slightly disappointing considering how great everything else was. I look...
