“Been coming to cranky pat's for 30 years. Was in there today with my wife around 3pm. We were the only customers there. One waitress was on the phone with a customer and 2 others were in the area. We sat there for 20 minutes and not one ounce of service. A couple of walk bys but no service. Doesn't the help work together or just ignore customers? Got tired of no service for 20 minutes so we got up and went elsewhere. Nice way to lose lifelong customers........we won't be back.“

“We came in with a large group of softball girls and they were willing to accommodate our group, were fast and on top of everything! The food was great, drinks were great, and the owner was super nice!
Kid-friendliness: The owner was so sweet! Our softball girls were trying to win ducks. She put in money for them and gave them some tips! She was super and very appreciative! Will definitely come back when we play in the area!“

“It's an Appleton icon. Good place, good food, service was a little slow, but they were busy during Mile of Music. Even so, still a little slow and a little too costly for what we ordered.
Two sodas, and a glass of water was the order... got 2 6oz plastic cups of gun soda and a bottle of water for $8.00? C'mon, bottled water is a buck at the most, and two tiny cups of soda cost you maybe $.10 of product, and $.20 for the cups. Your cost = $1.30ish. Quit jacking up prices on busy weekends!
For comparison... went for lunch 3 days earlier, no Mile of Music, had a good Mushroom Swiss Burger, Sweet Potato Fries and a Dr. Pepper. Total bill= about $13. Got the water for free, and a whole can of Dr Pepper. See the difference?“

“Parking: It's NE Wisconsin. The lot is plowed in the winter and care is given to sidewalks etc.
Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp to back porch easy in and out.
Party room upstairs. Stairs only way up/down.
Fun Neighborhood Pub. Pizza and Popcorn for munchin .“

“First time eating at The Old Grog. Sawyer, our server was very friendly ,knew the menu and made our dinner out very enjoyable. All the food was delicious too. Will be back!“

“Love the location. Loved the live band on a Saturday night. Food was good. Way understaffed and a bit chaotic. Best to get a beer or wine.... Not a very well stocked or trained bartender. Patio deck looks unsafe...and no effort into decorating the place... Kinda depressing.“
“It's a good neighborhood bar with a pool table and dart game, they have several gambling machines, there are some tables with chairs and the bar is relatively small with seating capacity at the bar of approximately 15 people give or take, it is a friendly place to go and usually not overcrowded.“

“Great food, great service and fun! Starting June 24th @ 7am they are starting the meat raffles again, along with every Tuesday @ 5pm.which is already happening. For a great drinking time and wonderful conversations, come to Retro's. You will not be diasapointed! Definitely a hidden gem!“

“Oh, Club Tavern, where have you been all my life? I’ve lived in Menasha 35+ years, and I have never been to Club Tavern until tonight. This was hands down one of the best meals (blackened tuna) that I have ever had!“

“Great food and clean, comfortable restaurant with great service.
Only gave it 4 stars because of all the loud swearing and inappropriate comments coming from the kitchen.
It didn't bother me as much, but I wouldn't have been very happy if my kids were nearby to hear these comments.
Still recommend eating here, I would hope that this was an isolated experience.
Their French fries are amazing.“
