“Some of the best brunch food in the Fox Valley. Always busy, so reservations are helpful especially if you go on Fri or Sat. We had a wait time of an hour on a Friday afternoon, partly our fault for not having a reservation. Management apologized up and down even though we were completely understandable. Sometimes the chatty Kathy's sit for 45 mins after finishing their meal. The ingredients are so delicious and the service is outstanding. The smashed avocado toast is phenomenal.“

“Solid place to grab a bite to eat! The menu is very inclusive for various diets. A carnivore, a vegetarian, and a pescetarian were all able to eat just fine. Even when busy the pace of the food from the kitchen flowed well.Inside:Clean and cozy. There are a handful of tables up front and then just a bit past the counter there is additional seating. If you're sitting at the front just be prepared for the influx of people coming and going! I would say an average of 30 heads for capacity at tables, probably more with optimal group sizes.5-6pm rush:It exists, which is a good thing. This place is popular and it deserves to be! We were able to grab a small table at the front after placing our order (small wait for the stuffed wings) and then we moved to the back once a table cleared out. There is probably plenty of space for most of the day but it's definitely possible for there to be a wait for seating (happened to two groups that came in behind us, who just ordered carryout instead).Service:Staff was friendly behind the counter and enthusiastic to help answer questions or customize orders. The kitchen staff was in a good mood and the server was attentive and friendly.Food:Dishes came out clean and well plated, the food looked like how it was advertised on the menu and was fresh. The stuffed wings can be piping hot when you bite in to them! The wings I had were a bit plain, but they came right off of the grill so I just gave them a splash of some sauces and they were good to go.Location:They are right downtown so it's easily accessible to stop in and grab a bite. Parking in front is limited, if you're the lucky one of five or six you're fine, otherwise there's parking in back / on the side when you're approaching the restaurant. It is at a pretty janky intersection, so if you're not familiar with the area I would turn in sooner to hit the side / back parking. They are on the outskirts of the eastern drag of college, but makes for a fun night of walking up towards Lawrence campus (or vice versa) when it decides to not be winter outside.Vegetarian options: There are a lot of vegetarian options available as far as curry goes, a decent mix with egg rolls and spring rolls, along with the stir fry style dishes. I did not ask what oil things like spring rolls and egg rolls are fried in though, so it may be worth double checking.Dietary restrictions: Pescetarian friendly as long as you're in the mood for crustaceans. They were accommodating!“

“Best Indian food in the Valley. We have small kids so usually do delivery and it's knocked out of the park EVERY time. The tandoori chicken and chicken mushroom dishes are dynamite. I was initially leery on Indian food and my wife showed me this place and it's now my favorite place to order food from, period.“

“LOVE this restaurant. I wish it was there when I lived in the area 20 yrs ago. I still get there a few times a year. I really enjoy the blackened shrimp tacos. The service has always been wonderful and consistent. The manager stops by the table a QUICK check in. That small touch means so much!! Yesterday I had the lemon cake for dessert friend's had the gluten free chocolate cake. We were all in HEAVEN!! My second time there a couple years ago we had a server who was maybe having an off day. I talked to the manager on my way out & he was sincere & grateful I had let him know.“

“It took me a while to find really good food around here, and this is it. The only down side was they were really busy, and thats not really bad. The wall is covered in golden fork awards for a good reason. This place is a gem!“

“It's our go to good Asian food spot when we're looking for a dine in. We always get good service, I love their Phet Phet sauce, and I think their drink menu has the funnest names I've ever come across. They also serve coconut water that compliments most of their foods perfectly“

“I wanted to try something new instead of the everyday fast food joint, and man am I glad that I stopped in here. My first time was a smashing success. The atmosphere was wonderful, Miss Sony has an outstanding presence and is so passionate about her craft and most importantly, the food was delicious. I’m not a soup person but decided to indulge in the Creamy Asparagus soup which did not disappoint! So many flavors. I also had the Pulled Pork Sandwich which tasted like I was at a local Kansas City spot. Lastly, the Reese’s Pieces pie was to die for. I definitely recommend Meade Street Bistro and can’t wait to come back again. Excellent job team!!!!“

“Great place, great latte, but shouldn’t have to wait 15 minutes for it to be made with only 2 orders in front of you.“

“Really tasty lavender honey latte. Food was ok. I had the smoked salmon w eggs and potatoes. Mom had avocado toast. Good place to stop in and not worry about leftovers. Lattes are always a pain to carry; maybe get to-go cup if differently-abled or if you shake or have balance issues bc those cups are wide and easy to spill. Good place for quiet conversations w views of water. Lots of nice plants. Bathroom was clean.Vegetarian options: Not a giant menu but veggie options. Also, there are tasty vegan cookies in the case“

“They give you a flight of soups to taste, and they were amazing. Definitely a diamond experience with fantastic food and fantastic service will not disappoint.“
“Went there tonight to get the free scoop. So many candies remind of the old dime store stuff that we’d bike ride everyday to get. Just need garbage pail kids and wax lips. But the ice cream is awesome and the Willy wonka bars have crazy awesome deals in them. Mine had $5 off at crazy sweet, 15% off at Joseph’s and bogo at Appleton beer factory. Gotta regular this place!“

“This visit was for a coffee passport we have the Coffee, Cappuccino, Food, Biscotti and dessert was fantastic the service was something to be desired as the servers were rather silent... They didn't say things like we'll have that right up for you after paying for your coffee. When they delivered the Coffee and sandwiches they set them down and left without saying a word! This happened for the additional individual purchases of the biscotti and the desert crumble cake! Conversation and a dismissal phrase after a purchase gives your customers a direction!“

“Most places in Appleton doesn't surprise me. I went and met up with a friend here for brunch buffet. It wasn't an all out buffet but they had certain menu items established. To my surprise everything from the fried rice, eggroll, soup, and appetizers were great! Fried chicken was fried to perfection. Fried rice had a nice hint of wok smokiness! I was so amazed I went back and their sushi which was decent, but every other dish that they served from their special item of "golden peking duck" was. Hit! Curry tasted great, and their padthai was wet and not dry in which I loved! Highly recommended“

“Very busy and understaffed. They gave me the wrong bagel but I wasn't too upset. I didn't say anything about it to them; the bagel was still good. The veggie cream cheese was also very good; perfect creaminess and just the right flavor. I will be back.“

“Osorio's catered our wedding and it was one of the major highlights of the day. Guests are still talking about it weeks later! They made the food tasting a fun experience, there's so many great options for catering - we went with the taco buffet - you can customize however you'd like, and they're a wonderful, professional team. We were originally drawn in by the amazing food truck offerings, and they absolutely blew us away with the catering. Seriously delicious food!!!“

“I've stayed at this hotel twice but never visited the restaurant on-site. A late flight in and a busy day ahead left me with limited choices, and I decided to check it out.The waitress/bartender was super helpful in answering questions I had concerning items on the menu.I decided on the pretzel bites and teriyaki chicken wings. She brought the pretzel bites out first, and although the beer cheese was not the best I've had, it was good.At the moment, my wings were brought out. I was so excited I told my husband who was on the phone with me that I would call him back because my favorite dish had arrived.I pushed my pretzel bites to the side and immediately dug into my wings to be immediately disappointed. They were cold! I reached down to the lower portion of the basket and tried another one, but it was also cold. The taste of the wings were amazing, but I could not eat them cold, so I asked them to be sent back. By the time my waitress got back to me for me to send them back, her explanation was that I had let them sit too long before eating. Hold up! What did you just say? I cook wings at home, and my family has to wait at least 5 mins before eating to prevent burning their mouths! I literally tried to eat these as soon as they were set before me!She was kind and removed the charge from my ticket but politely let me know that they were hot when she brought them out because they were personally cooked by their manager. I declined to comment that managers make mistakes, too.All good things start from leadership. Perhaps they need to implement corrective actions based on their customer complaints. Here's your sign.“
