My partner and I moved to the area recently and tried Zacatecas for the first time tonight. Our experience was 10/10 across the board. Manuel, our server, was very kind and attentive. My partner and I both ordered off the specials menu. Everything tasted extremely fresh and vibrant. We highly recommend the habanero/mango/peach margarita (if you like spicy stuff). We will definitely be back:)
Was honestly bummed by my experience. Got the besame mucho margarita and chicken enchiladas with red sauce and both were good but not exceptional, and I definitely don't think either were worth the price. Enchiladas could have been more flavorful, and margarita was small and nothing special. The salsa was warm which was interesting but almost tasted like ketchup or tomato soup.
