My husband and I were in Neillsville and asked a gas station attendant for a good place to eat. They recommended Schmitty's on Main. Good choice! The fish fry was delicious and we had a super nice server. And a big deal for me was the place was very clean. We would definitely go there again.
Such a cute little restaurant! Great food nice people. They're just aren't enough places like this left! If you're coming through Neillsville and want some good breakfast this is your spot! Ham and cheese omelette pancakes and hash browns for 11 bucks with great service which is worth its price in gold nowadays.
This is my third time stopping here for breakfast. If I was from the area I would definitely be here all of the time. It’s so clean and cute! The food is great and the service fantastic. Prices are incredibly reasonable especially considering the price of eggs (or anything really) right now ($9 for the meal pictured).
