“We moved up to our cabin full time in March 2020. This was the best decision we have ever made. The summer activities at the pool are wonderful, and the staff is always courteous and prompt with concerns or questions we have. We also enjoy eating at The Pines restaurant too. the fish fries are delicious.“

“Unfortunately, we continue to give the benefit of the doubt to a new owner ... but im not sure how you can have a southwest chicken salad on your menu and all that you receive is a half a head of lettuce served in a large bowl, chicken - cooked fairly well we might add, a couple of onions and a little 'southwest' dressing; NO black beans, no tomatoes, no corn, no tortilla chips, etc. As a new owner, you need to try to show you actually care and that you want people to return to your establishment.“

“We stopped in for a quick bite and got a couple burgers. Hands down, they have the best burgers in the area. The bar was pretty busy and we still got great service and a chance to chat with the bartender. She was amazing and you could tell she's the woman who holds the front end together. We will definitely be back to try the fish fry that they are pretty famous for.“

“The fried Green Beans were delicious! So was the Fish Fry, wish there was maybe a 4th piece or that the 3 were a little larger, but it was super yummy!!! Although all the tables were full and there were only like 3 people working (2 bar tenders and one cook from what I could tell), the female bartender did a fantastic job running the floor and serving the tables. She was very nice and gave recommendations since my mom and I were in from out of town. And the prices were very reasonable: less than $40 for an appetizer, 2 dinners, and a beer. Highly recommend!

“If you're looking for a great Wisconsin bar with awesome food, this is the place. Great cheese curds and onion rings. The Ruben is one of the best around anywhere! Good selection of beers and spirits in a cozy, friendly atmosphere. They say some of the best food comes from small bars in the midwest, and this is a great example. You won't leave hungry!“
