“Food was excellent and the view of the river from the inside was unexpectedly scenic. Despite everything in the building being as old as it is, the restrooms and bar were very clean. The bartender/ owner did not come off as the most "people person" at first, but once we sat down for a bit they were much more friendly.If your traveling through the area and not in a hurry, its definitely worth the stop.“
“This place has the best burgers and fish fry!!! We ate here on a Thursday and our burgers were made with love! I had a mushroom and swiss burger and it had the most delicious buttery toasted bun!?If you love country music they usually have country music playing as well!“
“First time here. I wish I could give it 10 stars! Four of us were dining on a Sunday. We had breakfast skillets and biscuits and gravy. The breakfast skillets were made with all super fresh ingredients. Eggs were perfect. The gravy for the biscuits was the best I have had. Clearly it was not from a can. The food was so good that we actually ordered 3 additional meals to go. We are traveling from Northeastern Wisconsin but will definitely stop here whenever we are out this way!“
“Food was great, the bartender/waitress was super nice. I've never had to prepay for my food and drinks. But once we ordered we had to pay right away before food was made. Which made it not seem very inviting. But that's OK. The place was clean, gorgeous, right off the trails which is why we stopped there besides it smelt so good.“
