“Birthday dinner for my 8YO daughter. Shout out to the entire staff at Wonita Sushi Seafood and Bar. They were super patient with the kids, waiter was awesome and even brought an extra dessert after simply noticing my daughter looking with envy at her brothers choice. Then waiting for the bill, the host (manager/owner?) noticed the kids eyeballing the lobster tank and he pulled up a stool for them to get a better look. He explained to the kids the growth rate of lobsters and we explained it was my daughters birthday dinner. Walking to the car, he chased us into the parking lot and gave her a special birthday stuffed animal. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever been this impressed with service. Especially as it was just another day to them, we didn’t mention the bday until leaving. We had planned a different place that is closed on Mondays. Glad we tried Wonita. They left a very favorable impression on both kids and they both said they want all future birthdays at Wonita!!“

“Went here for our anniversary. Had a wonderful time and our chef was very entertaining and humorous. Staff was very attentive and made sure everything was to our satisfaction. The food was delicious, and the experience unforgettable. Prices were reasonable, and portions plentiful. Definitely coming back!“

“Last Night was my Birthday and my daughter treated me. Initially we were on our way to Fushinami but found out it’s now permanently closed. Feeling devastated but still looking for all you can eat sushi, we fell on this place and we can definitely say we were not disappointed at all!!! We had such an amazing experience with each other and our server. I’m deaf so it was hard hearing his name. But he was funny, charming and charismatic. He brought us 64 pieces of beautiful and delicious sushi. We ate almost everything… He even took pics with us… Just a perfect evening and we will be back soon!!!!“

“Kyoto's food is always consistent, tastes fresh, and priced well. The staff is always so nice and very knowledgeable about celiac. I took my son (14), and he ordered a specific roll. The waitress said that they switched to a different brand of seafood in that particular food option and wasn't positive it may still be gluten-free. 5 stars every time.“

“Hibachi was great. Large portions. Service was good, staff friendly. They do auto add gratuities of 22%. Could have been a bit cleaner though.

Vegetarian options: Delicious tofu and veggies.

Dietary restrictions: They cater to this and ask several times.

Kid-friendliness: Did awesome with my niece and kiddos at the table. It’s a fun experience.“

“Xiao long bao and their special fujian wonton were delicious! The dumplings seem homemade and also tasty. The shrimp dumpling was not my favorite though. I feel like prices are a little high, but there arent a lot of Chinese restaurants to choose from in the area. Service was great.“

“Fujiyama is my absolute favorite Japanese restaurant! They have, in my opinion, the best sushi rolls and salmon sashimi, along with attentive service and delicious cocktails.

My favorite sushi roll is the Angry Dragon, which perfectly combines the sweetness of fruit with the crispiness of tempura shrimp, topped with a tasty mango sauce. For appetizers, the Crab Rangoon and Gyoza are my go-tos. The Crab Rangoon has a rich, authentic cream cheese flavor, unlike the artificial taste I’ve experienced at some other places. The sauce served with the gyoza is a hit with both my husband and me; we even use it with our sushi!

I’ve visited several times, and the cocktails recommended by the servers have always been great. My favorite is the Lychee Martini. It features lychee, a popular fruit in China that’s juicy and bouncy, and the drink has a unique tropical fruit flavor.

I haven’t tried much of the hibachi menu, but I did enjoy the Hibachi Chicken during their Monday and Tuesday specials. I love how they season their sauces.

The service here is very thoughtful. They provide warm towels for you to clean your hands, and there’s a surprise song and dessert for birthdays (although I haven’t celebrated mine here yet, the dessert looks amazing!). On my last visit, I accidentally left my phone behind, and a server even ran out into the rain to return it to me, which is why I’m able to write this review from my phone.

“Went today for my birthday and it was very nice. The restaurant itself had a very soft atmosphere which I really loved. The shrimp dumping was so good, wish I ordered more. My waitress was very kind and soft spoken, love that! The workers overall were very kind and lovely. The food there was very buss, I’ll come take my younger sister here for her birthday next time. I loved it, would totally come again! 🫶“

“First time in today, and just wow. Super friendly. I felt bad because I'm a dinosaur and only had a 50 on me and it didn't help their change situation, but we figured it out. Anyway, the food was absolutely incredible. Tried the Drunken Noodle w/Beef. I chose how spicy I liked it, and they were spot on. Maybe one of the best Asian noodle dishes I've ever had. Veggies on point, the steak was no stranger either. It was perfectly cooked, not all rubbery and weird, and a decent portion with the veggies. The sauce was there but didn't take over the other flavors that should be there still., and big ol fatty noodles make the dish hard to put down and take a breath. It was that good in my opinion. “The food is phenomenal, the most authentic northern food you will find in the mid west, I have been there MANY times with family and friends, every time I’m in town, it’s a must stop place for me. I recommend their dumplings and bao, all hand made by the owners, speaking of which, the owners are the most down to earth people you will ever meet, they care about their restaurant, the food and the customers, and treat their customers like family. I definitely recommend this place.“
