We have had the best experiences every time we have gone to the New Glarus location. Not only has the food been phenomenal, the staff has been tremendously nice and has gone out of their way to make sure we are well taken care of. Well done!!
We got overcharged on a carry out credit card transaction. Someone gave themselves a 36% tip. My husband went in person twice. He was first told to come back another day. He did so and was told it would be reimbursed within 2 days. It never was so I called. When I called, I was told the owner was "doing a bunch of them today" but it's been almost a week and still nothing. After 3 attempts, I am letting it go but feel the experience and lack of follow through is worth sharing.
Ordered a pizza for carryout. They said it would be ready at 6:10. Pizza finally came out at 6:40. I had a hungry 3 year old and a hungry one year old with me. I asked if we could eat the pizza in the restaurant since my kids were getting quite hungry and impatient. They would not allow us to eat in the restaurant because their wait staff might not make as much in tips. I politely expressed my displeasure, but they just said, "Sorry". They even had open tables.
