“We drove a few hours to hike at wildcat and go golfing near here. I am so glad this is where we chose to end our day. We were blown away by all of it the ribs were so melty and sauce was spot on. Not one thing was sub par including friendly staff and minimal wait while a busy sat night! We will be back!“

“This is my favorite place for dinner with the family. Especially for Friday night fish. Everything is amazing and the salad bar is one of the best in the area. The staff have always been very friendly. If you haven’t tried it I highly recommend you do.“

“Cyclists on the Elroy-Sparta Trail, take note: you know how sometimes you stop in a bar and the locals look at you like you crawled out from under some rock? Not here! I was stuck three hours waiting out a thunderstorm, and the locals were friendly and socialable. I usually leave my helmet outside if it might rain to keep it from getting wet, but I brought it in… and forgot about it. I called The Place when I arrived in Wilton to let them know I got there safely (seeing as how I finished up those last six miles at 11pm— yikes!) when they told me my helmet was still there. One of the bar patrons volunteered to drive it over for me, and of course refused any reward. Great crowd!“
