We did not have to wait. The restaurant was not busy. We were served the complimentary chips and salsa. The chips were very good. The server seemed in a rush and did not tell us about the special. After I asked, he only said street tacos, and then he walked away. We placed our order, and the food arrived quickly. The fish tacos were not very good. The beef tacos were ok, but we have had better ones at other restaurants. El Jimador should reduce the number of menu items...
The food and service from our waiter here are both incredible. We got the the nachos Al cabron for an appetizer and it was delicious. There was a cheese sauce on it that was incredible. We both got burritos and they were both delicious. The only negative was the $18 margarita was horrible and they refused to take it off the check even though we wouldn’t drink it..
Excellent food and a lot of it. Complimentary chips and salsa. The soup was massive. I could have just ordered that. Our server was very polite and worked hard to communicate well, even seeking help when unsure about our order. We enjoyed our visit and plan to return.
