Very happy. My daughter and I stopped by today for lunch on New Year's Eve @ 2pm. The young man bartender/cook was great. Steak bites-5 stars, Mozz Sticks (huge)-5stars, Patty Melt-4 stars. We will be back. Gotta love the gems off the beaten path.
Love Golden Lake Pub. Had our first date there. We go back regularly and have always had great service. Our bartender last night clearly didn’t want to be there. She never smiled, copped an attitude when she made a drink wrong then proceeded to complain to the cook that we asked for the correct drink. We brought 2 people with us who had never been there, and they said they won’t come back. It was dead during the packer game, and I believe she was the reason why.
We went for a fish fry, it took forever for our waitress to do anything for us.
We waited almost an hour for our food.
The people who walked in minutes before us ordered ate and left before we got our food delivered.
We only ordered one fish fry and one appetizer.
Drinks took far too long, especially because there were 3 bartenders working and the bar wasn’t that busy.
My wife and I eat out 3 to 4 times a week, and I’ve worked in...
