Best dive bars around. Chicago dog is spot on perfect. Tues.- Friday specials are delicious. I cant wait for the monthly menu beginning of every month. I mark my calendar with my favorites. Pony races are a blast. great local feel. live the bartenders too.
Love this side of the road bar!!! Bartenders there on my most recent visit, Eric & his wife were most excellent. Pony races were fun & the drinks are definitely affordable. The 3 x’s I’ve been there the patrons are so fun & welcoming. Enough seating around the bar & tables for overflow. The 1 dollar bills & my little ponies from the ceiling for the races are my fave. Plus the beautiful artwork in women’s room. 😂
The bartender was rude and did not understand customer service. We don't frequent this place but like to stop every so often. At one point, the bartender gave change from a purchase by throwing $3 worth of quarters across the bar.
We have never experienced this particular bartender before, but if she is there next time we stop in, we will just keep moving down the road.
