“My husband a live over an hour away from Zondlos. This was our 3rd or 4th visit to Zondlos. We can hardly believe the atmosphere, always full of fun customers young and older. Service is awesome. Kind and giving. Love this place.”

“The Captain is easily one of the best Italian beef sandwiches I’ve ever had, and it’s coming off a bar menu, which makes it even more impressive. The beef is tender and packed with flavor. The garlic bread its served on adds the perfect toasted crunch on the outside while still soaking up just enough au jus to keep every bite rich and satisfying. It’s honestly comparable to anything you’d find in Chicago or Milwaukee, yet it’s right here in Prentice. If you’re ordering it, get it loaded. The peppers, mozzarella and giardiniera take it to another level and give it that authentic, big-city sandwich shop feel. And let’s be real, being able to grab a sandwich this good for under $10 these days is almost unheard of. Big flavor, great value, and right here in our own town. Highly recommend.”

“We went there last week for a drink w. friends visiting from Belgium. We ate at the bar and enjoyed chatting w. bartender, and later owner also, to get more historical perspective on Camp 28. Loved looking at all the old photos of Rib Lake logging and CCC days. We had delicious soup of the day, tomato basil, as well as very tasty cheese curds of three kinds! We will return again for a full meal.”
