“My Aunt and I today completed a 11 mile hike, but unfortunately got stranded, and neither Uber nor Taxi service would drive us to our car 8 miles away. After showering us with delicious wine, Diane from Vines & Rushed Winery drove us herself to our car. Extremely blessed for her kindness, and highly recommend Vines & Rushes Winery!! ❤️”

“We stopped in the Friday after Thanksgiving. This place was everything we love about small town bars. The owner was behind the bar and she was everything you want in a bar owner, kind, friendly and easy to talk to. Could have stayed all day without a problem. We had the cajun breaded bluegill that was fantastic (order double coleslaw, its that good). Honestly one of the best bar experiences we have had in a long time. Will absolutely be back.”

“stopped in for the first time last night. We were in a group of 4 from out of town but wanted to try something new. Our drinks were tasty. we got sat pretty quickly. salad bar was standard but they get bonus points for having real bacon bits! Bread was warm and yummy. Soups were very good, needed salt but was fix. I got the prime rib and house potatoes. BEST PRIME RIB I've ever eaten. it was melt in your mouth tender. Potatoes again were underseasoned in my opinion but again, easy fix. My husband got the ribeye and it was cooker perfectly and also very tender. 10/10 would recommend!!”

“Finally made it to Wood-Eyes Bar & Grill last night for the first time in forever (honestly… since late middle school early high school years, I think I went more when I was with the salm family 😆). Amazing burgers, great fries, and the kids were totally mesmerized watching two young girls shooting their bows 🏹 — how cool is that?! Our youngest took a tumble, but a quick stop at the store to see the “old man puppy” instantly fixed everything 🐶❤️ Can’t wait to come back and try the wings! Also—huge thank you for keeping the music clean and family-friendly. It truly shows, and it matters. You guys are doing it right. 👏”

“Date night. We ended up waiting over an hour for a booth which was our own doing, we didn’t call ahead and there were two work parties occupying the dining room. The bartender (whom I assume was the owner), was very nice and kept us updated about status of seating. I had the 9 oz. tenderloin medallions and my husband had the ultimate tenderloin. We were both extremely pleased with our meals. I would definitely dine here again. The only reason I have 4 stars for atmosphere is because we dined in a booth by the bar and some patrons were loud and bit vulgar (not the bars fault, but just beware if dining with kids and sitting in a booth by the bar). All in all, definitely recommend calling ahead but even if you end up waiting, the food is worth it!”

Hadn’t been here in a few years, took a boat ride today and stopped for lunch. Quaint, clean, and with a very friendly bartender (who we found out is the manager).
Cold drinks, nice band to listen to (Jim and Nancy), and GREAT food!

“It was Friday night and we wanted a Wisconsin supper club experience--drinks at the bar, dinner with salad, bread, soup, and main course including fish. We each ordered a Land and Sea meal (their term for surf and turf). Two of us had ribeyes cooked medium to perfection and another had a tenderloin cooked medium-well, just the way she liked it. The steak was superbly juicy and not overly seasoned like some places. There was no need to mask the flavor of the excellent cuts of steak we got. We each got a different haddock dish--cajun, parmesan crusted, and deep fried. All three were excellent with lemon and hand-drawn butter on the side. The service was super friendly and the food came out fast. The portions were very large and we had to take much of it home with us. We will definitely return to Haase's Supper Club.”

“Was there last night with a couple friends. Christian, the bartender was fantastic. Fun, and a great personality. There was another bartender as well and unfortunately, can't remember her name, who was very good as well. Really enjoyed the atmosphere as well. We will definitely be going back :)”
