Homemade bread is a treat. The food was good and atmosphere was small town. Waitress was slow and she had to be asked for coffee and didn't clean up the plates when we were finished.
K's is always a go to spot when we're in town... Gotta have either the breakfast (Chicken fried steak, or cinnamon roll!) or the lunch (the fish is my go to!)Give em a try!
The Best hot beef sandwich w/mashed potatoes and gravy that I've had in a long time. Real potatoes, the beef was an actual roast, not some crappy beef from a package, real potatoes and on homemade bread. There are only three other places that were as good and they were Joe's Cafe, (Pete's Inn)The Dog Wagon (Earl Gibbs)both in Evansville and Norms Diner Portage. Thee Best cinnamon rolls too. I highly recommend this place.
