A shopkeeper in Taylor's Falls recommended Watershed and we liked it so much, we went twice during a three-day visit to the area. Ordering at the counter before being seated is unusual, but works well for these folks. In our two visits we ordered a range of items and found we loved everything. We had fish of the week, a steak salad, pozole, and a risotto on our two visits. All were very well prepared, with the pozole a real standout. Atmosphere leans a little informal given...
The Watershed Cafe is a true gem and an easy five-star experience. From the moment you arrive, the atmosphere is simply magical. The cafe is perfectly situated to offer breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, making every meal feel like a special occasion. Whether you're enjoying a coffee or a full meal, the stunning scenery is the perfect backdrop.

Nice cafe right next to the river and Cascade Falls. Great quality food and attentive service. Expect to order and pay at the counter as you walk in. We were there during labor day weekend rush and had to wait a few minutes which is understandable.
