Phillip's Cafe & Catering Reviews
We have driven by so many times and decided to stop this morning! It was so good, may be the best breakfast I’ve ever had. My husband got #5 and I got #4. I don’t like anyone’s French toast and rarely order it because I’m always disappointed. It was FANTASTIC! Everything was absolutely delicious and we will absolutely be back! Not only was the food amazing, but Sam took great care of us and her service was top notch!! ♥️♥️♥️
I haven’t eaten here in awhile but decided to stop for the Friday fish fry. The fish was cooked to perfection, along with a good portion of fries and coleslaw, and to add to a good meal was a fresh dinner roll. Heck of a good meal for a reasonable price.
Shame on the owner for your bs excuses and not knowing the laws!!!

Phillip's Cafe & Catering offers a typical local cafe experience with good food, reasonable prices, and pleasant, attentive service. The cafe has a fun, hometown vibe with interesting decor and a great Friday fish fry. Customers praise the fantastic coffee and report that the portions are satisfying. Recently, visitors have expressed their delight with the breakfast options, highlighting the #4 French toast as the best they have ever had. The fish fry is noted for being very fresh and hot, served quickly. Additionally, the cafe features a nice selection of fresh pies. Customers appreciate the attentive service, especially from staff members like Sam, and many plan to return for more delicious meals.
Recent reviews mention that food quality can vary, with some noting that the fried cod on a Tuesday night was not batter-fried but rather store-bought frozen fish. Despite this, the salad was surprisingly good and tasty, and the fries received high praise for being GREAT!!! The service remains friendly and attentive. Breakfast remains a favorite, especially the #6 with outstanding hash browns, making it one of the top spots across the state for breakfast. The four-piece chicken dinner is also highly recommended. The restaurant maintains a clean environment with home-made food served hot at very reasonable prices. It continues to be a popular place for locals and visitors alike, with many returning each time they are in town.
