Beautiful scenery and great food. Something as simple as a cheeseburger is done wrong by so many places, not here! Quality ingredients and 1919 on tap in a frosty mug! Will be coming again next time I'm in the area.
Food was excellent and the view of the river from the inside was unexpectedly scenic. Despite everything in the building being as old as it is, the restrooms and bar were very clean. The bartender/ owner did not come off as the most "people person" at first, but once we sat down for a bit they were much more friendly.If your traveling through the area and not in a hurry, its definitely worth the stop.
Nice rural bar with a beautiful view of the river. If you love Chili, be sure to order some here (or get some to go)... Some of the best I have had at any restaurant, anywhere. YUM!
