Horsin' Around is seriously a hidden gem. Beloved by the locals and for a good damn reason! If you're passing through it is in your best interest to stop. The wide variety of appetizers and sheer diversity in their menu are rather impressive for a small town tavern. Excellent food with that taste of home cookin' and the atmosphere you're looking for. Friendly, a little rowdy, but always good times. Some of the best jalapeño poppers I've ever had!
A small-town tavern with excellent food! We stopped in on a weekday afternoon for lunch. I ordered the mushroom burger with a side of mixed deepfried cheese curds. That burger was absolutely delicious and the cheese curds were wonderful and plentiful! The burger was big and cooked exactly as requested and they didn't skimp on the mushrooms. The service was fast and friendly as were the other bar patrons. This was a nice, clean place that I look forward to returning to!

Stopped here for lunch, because I had heard the pizza was good. Menu is standard bar food with a Friday fish fry and pizza. We got the deluxe pizza and deep fried mushrooms. The mushrooms needed to stay in the fryer a smidge longer because a few were cold yet inside, but the pizza was good.
