Delicious food and wonderful setting. Our server was great. Yes, it was a bit slow, but every good restaurant could use more help. Don't arrive impatient and you will be very happy you ate here.
Didn't end up getting what I ordered. Ordered weinerschnitzel and the waitress says "Huehner schitzel?" Tried correcting her to get weinerschnitzel and I ended up with chicken schnitzel anyways (not a chicken fan). The appetizers (german sampler) was very very good and the food quality is otherwise great. The service just seems not good. Asked for more water and the waitress never came back to the table other than to drop off the bill. The birthday boy's order...
Being a German restaurant, you wouldn't expect them to have great pizza, but it is! The only knock I had was our waitress wasn't very attentive, but she did look fairly new, and we did flag down a different waitress to tend our needs. I'd give 4 1/2 stars, if possible. Very cost effective! Their 'breadsticks' were a seasoned loaf of bread with marinara sauce for only $2.50. And the pizza was reasonable, too! Will definitely go again!
