“Had the pleasure of eating at the Owl Cafe recently in Platteville, WI. When we travel, we like independent restaurants (no chains please) with charm, grace and personality. We found it in the Owl Cafe, a "joint" that has been in continuous operation for over 60 years!! The walls were covered with framed covers of Life magazine and lots of tributes to Marilyn Munroe. The food was very good and very reasonably priced. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was friendly. Heck, half way through our meal, we were talking to other patrons. So, if you are in the area, check out the Owl Cafe; you will be glad you did.“
