Service can be hit or miss but this time it was excellent and it was a Saturday night. The French Onion is the best one I have ever had in all my travels. Simple and delicious. Sometimes it can be a little heavy on the salt but this time it was perfect. They had a special Cherry Almond Cocktail. So good. The prime rib is delicious.
Given the sorry state of meat quality at today's Supper Clubs, Plier's was a joy. Had fall off the bone Baby Back Ribs & Chicken. Washed down with a Guiness. Best meal I've had in a year. BEST Ribs & Chicken in a lifetime.
We love coming to Pliers full circle . However I was disappointed in the waitress (Beth). We were there March 5. I was looking forward to whitefish. Apparently it's hard to get. So I had shrimp. We ordered drinks which we didn't get until our dinner. Our dinner took forever. People around us who arrived later were served before us. We'll be back but hope we get a different waitress..
