We stopped at Cathay Garden Restaurant on our return trip from Tennessee. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. For example, my husband’s request for less hot spice in his Kung Pao Chicken was granted and his meal was perfect. The portions were generous and the food fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone living in or passing through the Portage, Wisconsin area..
Was so IMPRESSED they were slow due to construction, so I was able to “sample” a dish I never wanted ta order & pay for if I wasn’t gonna LIKE IT… & I LOVED IT!!!! New favorite Chinese restaurant!!!!!
We had a awesome lunch this afternoon,The owners are the most hospitable and friendly that you will find in Portage.
The food is always fresh and the servings are over the top.
Has not disappointed in the 10 years we have been going there.
