I wish there was a DQ Chill and Grill closer to where I live.

If I could give negative stars review on the service. I would. This girl was blonde, she had glasses and she was working today at around 3… she was rude as soon as we asked her about the quart because we paid over $25. She was rude after that, never said anything. We said thank you and used our manners. She didn’t give us the sundae we ordered, and when we called to ask her about it, she said, in a very rude voice mind you, “ok, come back and get it IF YOU WANT” and said it in a snotty voice. I was very disappointed. The food was great, but the service was horrible.

We came in at about 8:40pm. We had a 3 year old with us who eats slowly. I wasn't aware that we would need to rush. At about 8:55 an employee came over and told us we had 5 minutes. Then a couple minutes later told us we had to go because they were closing. We had to stand outside in 40° tempratures to finish our icecream cones because we didnt want the little one eating it in the car. The 2 teen girls kept looking out at us and appeared to be laughing at us. I understand they wanted to close, but I feel its rude to kick a family out right at closing time. Another 2 minutes and we would have been done.

We come up out of Rockford,Il. Enjoy that it still resembles the old days. Though the names of menu items have changed, it’s still good. The employees are all so friendly. Always enjoy my visit. See you soon!

I have to give this one mixed marks for two reasons. First, due to their hours either being listed incorrectly or, more likely, closing earlier than scheduled, based on the activities observed. We traveled some distance to this place and finding it closed early was a disappointment. Also mixed marks b/c it just didn't look like it was particularly clean and well-kept. Not terrible, mind you - the food may be fine - but the exterior didn't inspire confidence and we won't be returning in the future.

I have been to this portage location a lot of times and normally have a good experience. But this time I got a brownie cupfection and it was the worst I have ever seen. No fudge on top, the cup was half full of ice cream leaving a massive gap under the brownie full of air. Barely any fudge on bottom of the cup and very little amount of oreos throughout. To top it off the drive through girl was a bit rude not even trying to see it from my side. I paid for the same treat I like to have on a nice occasion. Just over all a massive disappointment. I will be going else where from now on.

So when you call they never answer the phone. I called several times one day and they never answered their phones.

Went for ice cream with the family and the girl on the intercom was rude, rushing and laughing throughout the order.
When at the window she acted as if we were a inconvenience to her day.

Worst service I ever received at a Dairy Queen (Drive-up). Little or no communication, Ice-cream machine need to be reloaded and had to wait. Watch employees basically stand around with-out a care, Saw them pass a broom and handled dust pan across the serving counter twice, Blizzards were soft an ended up drinking them instead of enjoying them. Had to ask for napkins twice after trying to flag someone down thru thru drive up window. (Again poor customer service, There were at least 6 employees on duty).

Went through the drive thru and only ordered a medium Reese’s peanut butter cup blizzard as well as a large vanilla cone in a dish. When I got to the window and paid I had to re ask for lids / dishes for the blizzard and cone which wasn’t a big deal, however when I got home I found the blizzard had no Reese’s in it, just little flecks to make it seem like something was in the cup. As well as the last few times my family and I have went to this location which we go to about once a week or every other, the blizzards haven’t been filled to at least the top of the cup and have had a vast inconsistency with how full the cups have been with both the ice cream and the candy inside.. overall it’s almost better at this point to go to Culver’s or even the Dairy Queen in sun prairie.
