The patio was in a beautiful location…. Buncha drunk young adults being loud outside for dinner which was bothersome. Had to go to bar to ask for service. Had to help myself to napkins and silverware at the salad bar as waitress forgot to bring us those items and I was not going to wait another 15 min for her to check on us. Honestly could be nicer to not local people in my opinion. It felt awkward the entire time. I’ll skip next time unless I just stop in for a patio beer...
Stopped in on a quiet Tuesday evening at the end of October and had a great “American food” supper. Started off with some lava hot deep fried cheese curds, and enjoyed a fish sandwich and fries. The food was great as was the friendly service.Stop by if you are looking for a classic Wisconsin bar with a great view of the Mississippi River.NOTE: while I didn’t have the bluegills this time, I’ve had them before and they’re great, it’s something you don’t find everywhere.
