“A great little bar down in Princeton. We walked in somewhat late as the place was closing up, but they let us come in for a drink. Bartender was very nice and accommodating. It seems like they had a big food set up, however, I wasn't able to try any. The bar is massive though with plenty of darts and pool tables to play at. Would definitely swing by again if you're in the area.“
“First time here. Will be back. Best sweet potato fries I've had. My sandwich was amazing and the cheesecake off the charts. Our waitress was super sweet and friendly. She offered suggestions and answered my questions. The atmosphere was nice and the dining area was clean and well maintained. Great place to eat if your an outdoor enthusiast. We will be back. I recommend checking this place out.Parking: Parking in front and back at this business.“
“Fish were a little soakey needed to be a little crisper for haddock, walleye could of been 2 pieces used to be 3 pieces now just one steak fries were just ok.garlic mashed potatoes were very good soup an salad were, were just as good.one think I noticed when some people take a bowl of soup they take less soup but more meat ,vegetables or what they have.the bartender needs to smile once in a while“
“More of a 4.5 than a 4.Great Friday night fish fry (cod, walleye, perch) with generous portions. FYI, the burgers do not come with lettuce, tomato, etc. so be sure to check with your server.Local beers on tap: Spotted Cow & Knuth Blue-Eyed BlondeThe photos of the menus on here are relatively accurate. High chairs and booster seats available.“
“This place was Joe and Mabels for years, then closed in the 1980's and sat empty until recently. It has received a nice makeover and is fresh and spotlessly clean. Pizza is very good and made on premise. Nice menu and Friday fish. Good bartender, good service. It has all the things I look for in a well run bar. I will be back to try the fish fry!“
“My husband and I ate there yesterday. BEST BURGER WE'VE EVER HAD, ANYWHERE. I am not sure what meat mix that use but it was fabulous. He had the mushroom and Swiss and I had the cowboy burger. Homemade fries and the bloody marys were all fabulous. Go here for their burgers!!!!“
“Awesome bartenders! Jess and Lorna rock!! They make you feel at home. Great drinks and peaceful atmosphere. Gaming machines and the rubber ducky crane game are fun! The best hometown local tavern around. Must see for the traveler stopping by.“
“Have not ever been here, but based on the reviews, I will absolutely be checking it out when we go to Arrowhead next time. Had no idea that there was something so close. Arrowheads' food is awesome, but throwing in a good friday dinner with the family is always a good time. Look forward to camping season '24. We will see you then“
“When we are in town, this is the only place we go. Staff and owner are always friendly. Seems like all bartenders are very experienced and like their job. Great menus but no burgers or pizza on the menu, they consciously and respectfully do not want to compete with their neighboring establishments. Thursday martini drink specials, home made food starting at noon on Sat until it sells out, which it always does. Great bar stools. Not stools at all in fact. It’s like sitting in a lazy boy at the bar. Great vibe, great customer service and they always have something going on. Go for a drink, stay for the next experience! Nachos are huge and bomber sandwich is a winner!“
