I was treated very well by by the bartender! A nice smaller bar on a lake You can't go wrong! The scenery is great! If I had the guts I would have jumped in the water but it was pretty late at night :-)
Jailhouse has been my number one go-to since 2004 when I'm in Rhinelander! Randy, the owner, is such a great guy and puts his heart and soul into making this a place where people can have a fun time and make memories. We've been to the Jailhouse a couple of times, and both times we were greeted by a friendly, attentive bartender. It seems to be a great casual hangout for locals, but we found them to be welcoming to newbies, also. Their daily specials consist of generous servings of good ol' comfort foods at a reasonable price. Nice place to have a beverage, eat, and enjoy the lake view.
