Good food if they were easier on the griddle with the butter/greese. Service is pretty solid. Good size portions. Always have to ask for napkins. Limited hours so never had late lunch or dinner. Closed several days of the week as well so short hours during open days so hard to get a good take on anything. There is one solid long term server that is awesome however. My only complaint is a locals talking extensively of religion very loudly and speaking nasty of "native americans"...
Dated but IMO they have the best biscuits and gravy in Rhinelander. Staff is attentive and friendly. I have never been in when the place was packed. The music is not blaring so you can have a conversation.
The only place open at the time, so I decided to try it. It wasn't too bad considering it was very busy. The back room was a little scary and dark, but the food was better than the environment. I liked the papillon breakfast sandwich, but the French toast was huge. I recommend it if you're in a rush and have a budget.
