My favorite entree is the smoked pork chops. Only a salad wedge with 3 homemade dressings (best when you mix all 3 and add blue cheese). Also they only have baked potatoes for side. Unique experience...GO! Must make reservations.
I drove up from Hickory NC to meet some local friends and do some grouse and duck hunting. In my travels, I asked a local to Rhinelander where is the best place to eat. They gladly told me about The White Stag, so I had dinner plans! Upon arrival they were super busy and I had to wait for a few minutes for a table.
