“I took my girlfriend here to eat since I have not been there yet and it was her birthday. I wanted to have a nice meal with her and celebrate with her. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere. It has the same feel as many of the family restaurants in the surrounding areas. Food was delicious and our server was very nice and professional. The restaurant was clean. The bathrooms were clean and orderly. I was bummed out that they ran out of shrimp. But if it was a popular dish, I cannot blame them for running out. Cheese curds were good. They have white cheddar cheese curds in case you were wondering. Wish places would go to the yellow again. But anywho, overall great experience and left full.“

“I am from Boone Iowa, up in Rice lake visiting family, and heard how amazing Maxines was. So, I had to go for breakfast. The eggs benedict was probably some of the best I have ever had. And Maxine herself stopped at our table and talk to us. It is a very welcoming, family oriented place! I will definitely eat here again!!!“
