The pizza ranks up there with the best, and I’ve tried a lot of different pizza’s thru the years. Duddy the owner? I’m assuming. Was very cordial, had some bar games that were fun. The only thing we really didn’t like was the lighting. It was very dark in the area you had to walk thru to go to the bathrooms. Visiting Rice Lake for the first time to check out the area to see if we might find a vacation rental that would have us visiting annually. First day arrival and pretty hungry. We hoped to find a restaurant on the lake and to our surprise, there was only one. Hoots doesn't look like much, but we've always found places like this to have great food and friendly people so we gave it a try. My husband and I were on a mission to find a place to get some pizza for lunch. After attempting several places, nothing was open until 4 which we thought was odd since it was a Sat. We saw this place was open and they had pizza so we figured we would give it a shot! The bartender was really nice and the pizza was a lot better than we expected! The interior could use some updates but overall, we had a good time and more importantly, we got our pizza!
