Great Chicago Dogs and Gyros

What a great experience we had at SweetER n’ SaultyER. We were in Ripon on a bus tour with a bus load of quilters. Our bus driver wanted ice cream. We pulled into this little mom and pop store. What great service and the ice cream selection was fantastic!!! They got us in and out of the store within 20-30 minutes!

Came in and we were welcomed by Ava and Nicole. They made us awesome sundaes!! Would 100% recommend to anyone around! Thank you for the friendly customer service :)

Stopped today to try the Gyro. Delicious! It was hot and loaded with meat. I was going to take a picture, but I forgot 😔

We were visiting from out of town and were really looking forward to a classic, small-town diner experience. Unfortunately, this was anything but that. The entire restaurant appeared to be staffed by just two teenagers, one of whom had a visible attitude and neither of whom seemed properly trained to handle even basic service.

The food was also incredibly disappointing. The cheese curds were unappetizing, the fries were barely cooked, and after ordering and paying for chicken tenders, we were told they only had chicken nuggets—what we were given were two tiny frozen nuggets.

There were safety concerns as well—one member of our group almost tripped over an uneven section of the floor, and rather than offering help, the employees just stared. That same lack of care extended to how they handled the ordering process.

What was most upsetting was how they handled our two kids with special needs. They were excited to order on their own, but instead of being patient or offering help, the staff again just stared, offering no assistance or accommodation.

This place had potential to be a cute stop during our trip, but it ended up being a frustrating and disappointing experience. We hope the owners take this feedback seriously and invest in better staff training and customer service.

I love the feel of this. Comfy ol fashioned metal chairs with thick cushions. The girls that waited on us were so sweet too. We will return❤️❤️

Had a terrible hotdog that I'm pretty sure was an Oscar Mayer. Could not even pick it up without everything breaking apart. Bun was nothing but mush. Booooooo, so disappointed wish I could get my money back for sure.

They have the BEST sundaes and friendliest people!

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat. 41 minutes later, we received our two hotdogs which were cold…. I would like to know where management is and all this?? if you’re going to trust your business to 2 teenage kids which were very nice by the way.. why aren’t they trained properly?

Worst place ever!! Ordered one Italian beef and it took 20 minutes!! Served up with attitude and no apology. All she said was we are busy. There was only one other customer!
Outrageous! Don’t go here teenagers with serious work ethic problems!!

So happy to find another restaurant in Wisconsin with real Chicago food. Today was the first time I’ve stopped and I’m absolutely loving it. The menu is just like the corner store in Chicago food wise and I love it. If your craving an Italian beef or even a Chicago style hotdog and live in the area stop here, you definitely won’t be disappointed.

the Italian beef was awful. wasn't thin sliced they said they didn't do peppers just hot peppers. barely any mozzarella cheese and the bun was a soft bun. I ask for the sandwich to be dipped in the juices and the girl sad they don't do that and gave me a small cup of juice. the meat was dry on a bread bun with mozzarella cheese on the bottom. in fact it had a vinegar taste to it.

Awesome turtle sundaes!!! They have food too. Great service and very friendly.
