“I'm a Sparta native and stopped into Harris crossing because my dad worked with Ray Harris on the police force, and I wanted too talk too Doris, so my husband and I stopped in and I met Brian Harris and he was so helpful, telling me he knew my dad, and family and it was great too talk too people who knew / remembered my family... I love Sparta and can't wait too relocate back there wth my husband and have our life there.. I feel so good when I'm there and it's my home away from home... “Stopped in here while waiting for a funeral to start. Not many people in at that time but I ordered a few drinks and the friendly bartender kept me company. It has been a long time since I was in town and she updated me on some changes. The beer was cold and the service was friendly. I did not have any food.“

“We didn't get food, so I can't comment on that. But the staff was friendly and funny. Alcohol 🍸 was very inexpensive. It's cash only, but there is an ATM in the bar. It has a really hometown atmosphere. You can grab a drink here before or after dinner as it's walking distance to Downtown with all the restaurants. Or grab a beer on your walk home. Next time I come to Fort McCoy I'll definitely go back. I got a Shirt 👕 and hat too.“
