“I'm a Sparta native and stopped into Harris crossing because my dad worked with Ray Harris on the police force, and I wanted too talk too Doris, so my husband and I stopped in and I met Brian Harris and he was so helpful, telling me he knew my dad, and family and it was great too talk too people who knew / remembered my family... I love Sparta and can't wait too relocate back there wth my husband and have our life there.. I feel so good when I'm there and it's my home away from home... And my husband and I will definitely stop in at Harris Crossing again and stay awhile longer... And Brian u better have t- shirts then so we can buy some!!!! Thanks for the hospitality!!!! “Bartenders, the jukebox, and colorful walls are the best 3 things! The owner is very friendly and tentive with customers giving a warm welcome - feeling! The pool table location in front of the bathroom makes for a small challenge when needing to go, but that's small change when the feel - Good atmosphere is big bucks! 4.75 out of 5❤“
“We didn't get food, so I can't comment on that. But the staff was friendly and funny. Alcohol 🍸 was very inexpensive. It's cash only, but there is an ATM in the bar. It has a really hometown atmosphere. You can grab a drink here before or after dinner as it's walking distance to Downtown with all the restaurants. Or grab a beer on your walk home. Next time I come to Fort McCoy I'll definitely go back. I got a Shirt 👕 and hat too.“
“Stopped in here while waiting for a funeral to start. Not many people in at that time but I ordered a few drinks and the friendly bartender kept me company. It has been a long time since I was in town and she updated me on some changes. The beer was cold and the service was friendly. I did not have any food.“

“Our experience at The Ridge was excellent, from the salad bar to the pumpkin creme brulee for dessert, and everything in-between. I had the batter-fried jumbo shrimp & French fries which were perfectly cooked and served piping hot. Husband's walleye was pan-fried to perfection. The staff was efficient and friendly, and the portions were very generous and priced appropriately. I HIGHLY recommend and can't wait to go back, and that's not something I say about more than a couple of restaurants within a 50 mile radius of home! P.S. My bourbon old fashioned was delicious 😉. ☆☆☆☆☆“
