This is an excellent neighborhood bar. The drinks are cheap and the service is out of this world awesome because most of the bar tenders are local Legends. You could go by yourself or bring a friend and actually have a conversation because it isn't too loud and it isn't too busy. There are fun weekly events like trivia and wine club. The back patio is enjoyable. And the pop ups are hilarious
As soon as I walked into Foggy Dew I felt comfortable. There was something different about this bar, although the clientele looked typically Milwaukee South Side. They were polite, kind and welcoming. The guy sitting next to me gave up his seat for my friend. I bought him a drink to thank him, but he didn’t acknowledge it, probably embarrassed. The bartender was immediately welcoming and friendly! I find neighborhood bars a little daunting, b/c I don’t like to stick out among the regulars. But the service was great, and I was glad to have finally checked this place out. Plus I love a bar with frozen pizza + pitcher deals.
