“This will be the first review I have done but felt it important to hold a certain abusive staff accountable. The Food was as great as it always has been! Bigger guy in “bar area” talks to staff very aggressively. We felt bad for our wait person as we heard and saw her get yelled at for his mistake! We left before we finished our meal due to the location of our table, we heard him continually berating the entire staff. Very uncomfortable. It was so upsetting to see him treat the staff like he did! Shame on him! We have been going there for over 20 years and service was always so friendly. Until apparently new ownership? The food was still great and fast.”

“We go to the tiki bar for Monday margaritas after the St. Germain flea market every year when we visit for vacation. The margaritas and food are delicious and the owner is so kind and funny. We love the tiki bar! It’s a must stop.”

“We get the Tom Turkey wrap for lunch pick up often and it is the best!!! Great flavor, packed with meat and enough for two people to share. We came in for dinner on Saturday night & sat at the bar and had John as our server. He was amazing. Beyond friendly, hard working (training someone, taking orders, delivering meals, replenishing coolers - all with a calm demeanor and kind heart) attentive and kind. We have dined in before and this was the best service we have had there. Hats off to John ~ he is an asset to the establishment. Ate the summer salad and Angry bird and both were great. Have had pizza here & it is always delicious, lots of it and priced fairly. Groceries, gas, lodging, dining, drinks.....all of these have increased in price since Covid. St. Germain is not exempt from that and they all work hard to deliver to all of us who come up and enjoy the beauty of the area.”

“I D O N O T recommend them. we brought 15 adult motorcyclists in to eat and drink. tried to put two tables together and the bartender yelled, "WE don't push tables together here. so we left with out nearly $1,000 worth of business.”

“came this evening for dinner and there wasn't much of a wait, but the younger blonde working the window was sat and ate her ice cream at her own pace ignoring customers and being very short with them was upsetting. she made fun of other customers when they walked away, didn't care to smile, and would walk away and not help customers with ketchup and sauces. the food is great but today's service was nothing short of horrible. I hope it was just an off day for her and it's not like this normally.”

“Had a great experience at the Hillside tonight, bright clean and welcoming, the wait staff (Anderson) was attentive and helpful, the menu choices were varied and all the food was delicious! Well done Hillside! We’ll be back!!”
