Great Ice Cream, Good People!
Cathy's has always been a destination for many years with our families. Why has the ice cream changed to cedar crest? Everyone serves this ice cream. We came for the great flavor of Kemps(I think that was the original served). Not craving wanting to go there all the time.
My wife and I have been coming to Cathy’s for years. Everything they have is nothing short of delicious!

Cathy's Ice Cream n' Candy Shoppe is a friendly place with big servings and a great selection even after the summer season. The staff is always laid back and service is excellent. Despite some flavors being out late in the season, trying new flavors like the Blue Moon ice cream was a delicious experience. This shop is a North Woods staple, offering not only ice cream but also a variety of candies, including fun options of candy, chocolate, and peanut butter chocolates for less than $1. With a huge covered patio and lots of tables outside, it's perfect for kids and those young at heart to relax and enjoy. There is indoor and outdoor seating, although the indoor seating is limited. They do have a small dock you can pull up to if you're coming from the lake. It can get pretty busy in the evenings and on warm days, but the line moves quickly and the staff is always welcoming and efficient. With 32 flavors plus all the candy and other stuff, it's an awesome must-stop place if you are up there.
