"You can't judge a book by its cover" certainly applies here. With the overgrown landscaping, rotting exterior wood and peeling paint, I wasn't sure if the business wasn't closed permanently. If it wasn't for the 2 cars in the lot, I'd have driven on.Service was speedy. Food came right out. Plate looked plain. No garnish. Tasted delicious. Meat was tender, moist and very flavorful. Beans had that delicious creaminess I love. I drive past here...
I stopped eating here years ago but the new owners have changed this place around. The quality and value of the food is fantastic. Definitely worth trying again if you were not a fan in the past. Everything is better. The owner are wonderful and the food doesn't disappoint. Give them another chance if you haven't been here in a while.
1st time customers, wanted some Authentic food for dinner. Placed a to go order (in person) & the server who took my order was really friendly. Service was quick about 10min! Super fast for just stopping in & ordering. We had The Cubana Dinner & the tamales dinner. Good portions, the Cubana was so big that my hubby couldn't even finish the whole thing! Lol & got 2 bottled sodas (they gave us chips/salsa for free) since we spent $37, well actually it was 37...
