Delicias Monarkas Reviews
I love this place! From their ice cream to helping with desserts for dinner events throughout the year, they are soo helpful on top of delicious desserts!
This place was awesome!! My husband (from Veracruz) and I are pretty picky when it comes to authentic Mexican food but this place was probably in our top 3 restaurants / cafe outside of Mexico. Handmade tortillas were being made in the kitchen the gorditas we had were delicious and the empanadas de piña were outstanding. I usually shy away from fruit filled desserts as most are just most sugar but then the owner/cook told me she hand makes the fillings from seasonal fruits I...read full review
We stopped in for ice cream. But we left with our ice cream and a take out of carne en su jugo ( beef and bean soup with bacon and ham.) We're not from the area and we were just doing some sightseeing and saw that they had ice cream. We left with the soup and had it later at home. The soup was very good and we would recommend it. Another plus was the staff was very friendly. So if we're ever in the area we will keep this place in mind.

Delicias Monarkas is a welcoming and kid-friendly restaurant with a delicious menu. The cucumber lime agua fresca and tamales are favorites among customers. Their tres leches cups are perfect for picnics, and the birthday cake, especially the Tres Leches, is a highlight. The accommodating staff served delicious nachos grande, walking tacos, and tamales at a birthday party. The employees are efficient and helpful, and the restaurant maintains clean facilities, making it a highly recommended dining experience.
The handmade tortillas and gorditas are delicious, and the empanadas de piña are outstanding. The owner/cook hand makes the fillings from seasonal fruits. The empanadas are large and reasonably priced. The staff is super friendly, and the views and the town are beautiful.
The carne en su jugo (beef and bean soup with bacon and ham) is very good and recommended. The staff is also very friendly.
The tres leches cake was beautiful, delicious, and a big hit at the birthday party.
