“I was told to try day break for a good fish fry by a friend as i have struggled to find a good fish fry that reminds me of home with good fresh portions of perch walleye,and white fish. Most places here serve cod which I'm not crazy about. Iv come to the conclusion after trying 7 spots in wausau that central wisconsin doesn't have the resources for the fry I'm used to back in Michigan. The people here were wonderful, that goes for the service as well as the guests inside promoting a nice atmosphere. ?“

“We just had a fish fry at Hutch's Kelly Club, and it was excellent. One of the best fish fry's I have ever had in the Wausau area, and their prices are at the low end of the fish fry scale. I am not sure if there has ever been a time that I could not finish a perch dinner, but I could not tonight. There was that much food. It was all hot and delicious, and the serving sizes were really big. I commented to our server, who I should add did an excellent job, that for the meal I had, at that low of a price, their place should be packed. I have been there in the past few months for drinks and appetizers during happy hour, and again the food was great, and the prices were very good. Do yourself a favor and check them out. You will not be disappointed!!“

“Listen up y'all!! If you're looking for a cozy, friendly, little spot for good food, a warm friendly atmosphere...This is the place! I went there recently and it was on a Friday. They have a fish fry and I treated my sister and daughter. We all had different meals off the menu. Shrimps, walleye, halibut, ribs, coleslaw, German/American potato salad, cheese curds, fresh re-read. Alll the food was piping hot, fresh, seasoned and delicious . Worth your time, and the price was right. Come on down, you'll be glad you did!!! I guarantee!!!!“

“Went for Christmas buffet what a joke. The buffet was literally empty. No salad, no chicken no turkey, 3 pieces of ham, no dressing no buns, no dessert. There wasn't even plates. We sat an hour and still nothing filled..How hard is it to fill a salad bar?The tomatoes, cheese, cottage cheese was all empty. , it was a total disaster and we had a reservation of 11 she never even had our names.“
