“A classic country bar except for one thing. Simply fantastic food!! We had a double ham and grilled cheese and the special which was a delicious steak sandwich with grilled onions on a toasted hoagie. They even made a great kiddy cocktail for my grandson.“

“Some family and I went out for a fish fry here. The drinks are reasonably priced and have a good solid pour. My pan-fried Walleye was really good. Two of the five food orders were not correct. One was missing the extra piece of fish, and one had beer battered that was supposed to be baked. The wait staff apologized and brought out the extra fish and offered some free drinks.“

“I was told to try day break for a good fish fry by a friend as i have struggled to find a good fish fry that reminds me of home with good fresh portions of perch walleye,and white fish. Most places here serve cod which I'm not crazy about. Iv come to the conclusion after trying 7 spots in wausau that central wisconsin doesn't have the resources for the fry I'm used to back in Michigan. The people here were wonderful, that goes for the service as well as the guests inside promoting a nice atmosphere. ?“

“Great friendly environment and the staff is always on top of things I went in for food and drinks a few times with friends and always had a great time and they offer a good variety of specials for food and drinks the cupids kiss ice cream drink special for valentine's day was my favorite and the lucky charms drink for St. Patrick's day was one to order again I wish I could have taken some pictures of both drinks because they were almost works of art and very picture presentable worthy as far as the food the pizza is delicious and steak nachos made me come back for more I also loved how they did meat raffles and other community events here even if you don't drink and don't eat much this place is definitely still a great place to meet up with old friends or make new ones so if you need a night out wild one or not this is the place to head to if old Dale isn't in Tim will definitely take goodcare of you check it out and have some fun“

“We just had a fish fry at Hutch's Kelly Club, and it was excellent. One of the best fish fry's I have ever had in the Wausau area, and their prices are at the low end of the fish fry scale. I am not sure if there has ever been a time that I could not finish a perch dinner, but I could not tonight. There was that much food. It was all hot and delicious, and the serving sizes were really big. I commented to our server, who I should add did an excellent job, that for the meal I had, at that low of a price, their place should be packed. I have been there in the past few months for drinks and appetizers during happy hour, and again the food was great, and the prices were very good. Do yourself a favor and check them out. You will not be disappointed!!“
