“I love this restaurant. The quality of the food is excellent, atmosphere is charming and you will not fine better bread in Milwaukee period. The staff and owner are very friendly. I have seen a few reviews noting slow service, it is a small business and they have limited staff but it is worth the wait. Shorewood is lucky to have such a fantastic coffee, breakfast, brunch and lunch option.“

“My husband and I really enjoyed our meal here. The "salad" bar had so many delicious choices. Our favorite was the cheese bread. It must have been a hit because it was picked clean twice while we were there. All of the meat sliced at the table was tender and delicious. Wear stretchy pants because you'll leave full!Parking: You can park in the BMO parking garage and the restaurant will validate your ticket so it will be free. Very nice?“

“We have been meaning to dine at La Merenda and by the time we've gotten around to it, we've realized we should have come much sooner!! It's tucked away on a side street off S 1st and has a very homey, yet eclectic feel when you walk in! Our server was so nice and was happy to answer any/all questions. The food was simply to die for. We started with some drinks and the beet salad, which had warm goat cheese on top - this really tied it all together. Then we ordered the lamb bolognese (our favorite by far), kung pao chicken (very spicy but so flavorful), and the Argentinian beef (a great cut of meat). We decided to get dessert because why not. The waiter highly recommended the Irish car bomb cake and it did not disappoint!! We will definitely be returning here regularly!“

“Everything is awesome...I know it's hard to believe but it's true. Their candor is dope, Devin is a wizard of brewed things and trust me, the bagels (everything bagel is my fav), croissants, macrons & bread loaves (the pizza bread is amazing for grilled cheese sandwiches) are fantastic. The new breakfast toasts are also worth checking out too. Below is a "pop tart" they made last week and I never knew a pop tart could be elevated but WOW. Awesome.“

“I always point people to this spot when they ask where my favorite pizza is. I love the unique combinations that they come up with. We got two pizzas and some spinach artichoke dip. Our server had a lot of energy and was very attentive. We made a reservation on a Thursday and I'm glad we did because the place was poppin. There was live music, too.“

“We were lucky enough to get in this restaurant tonight. This food was sooooo good! Serbian stuffed peppers, probably the best I've ever had! We also had Sarma, Raznjici and Chevapchichi. “My favorite steak in town…. “Steak au Poivre” can be found at this great French restaurant (French not not haughty) in Wauwatosa. Favorite steak as it tastes great, and presented well. Sliced on an angle and sauced with a red wine black peppercorn reduction, it has just enough char on the outside to balance the medium rare I love inside. Along with taste, I love that it comes with my fav vegetables-haricot vertes and absolutely perfect French fries! So unlike popular steak restaurants, at LaReve you get more than just meat for the list price! Yum + Yay! The desserts? They are as gorgeous as they are delicious! The case is filled with sweet perfection, each one more beautiful than the next! Just so hard to pick which on.! And the macrons are iconic-crisp outside and soft chewy inside, take a few home with you! But what a treat to find a Kir Royale on the menu last night at dinner before a show! I’m sure it’s a direct effect of Emily in Paris Season 3, but maybe I just never noticed it on the menu before! I served these for Christmas ten years ago and when I saw Emily working on an ad campaign, I just knew they’d start to show up on menus soon. Lucky me! Bon Appetite! This place is great for a girls lunch or business lunch, A friends dinner or date night!“

“O.M.G. You're not going to find better food in Milwaukee. Fight me. EVERYTHING on their menu is either amazing or fan-f#%*ing-tastic. If I were a richer woman, I would walk in and get one of everything on the menu. The first time I tried it, I was so impressed, that the next night when I had reservations to another "foodie" Restaurant, I left after appetizers and came back to Odd Duck. “All dishes are good. I tried lomo salteado(beef with fries and white rice) i did arroz con pollo(chicken with cilantro rice) fried rice with chicken and egg. The fish ceviche its good while u like raw fish and they add sweet potato to it which i never thought i would like with lime juice but its good. I tried one empanada peruana and one columbiana y liked the peruana better. I would be returning here. Prices used to be lower but the flavor is really good so its worth the price. For a group of 5 ppl it was $140.“

A local place the coworkers go after work because it is close by. The enter and exit is confusing because driveway is hidden. So because very caution.“

“We used the Greige Patisserie for our November 2023 wedding in Oconomowoc, WI. They did our personal cutting cake and dessert bar. We mainly communicated with Miranda, who was very responsive, professional and helpful. The dessert tasting appointment was really fun to try out some of the more popular treats. They delivered and set-up all the desserts on wedding day and it looked perfect. The cake was absolutely beautiful and exactly like the inspo pictures we shared. The dessert bar was a hit and we had multiple guests talking about how good all the treats were all weekend. We had s’mores shooters, strawberry shortcake shooters, lemon bars, salted caramel tarts, snickerdoodle cookies and macarons. We would definitely recommend the Greige Patisserie to future couples. “Fiddle heads is one of my most favorite places to go, whether to study, see friends or just grab a quick drink I love it! The peopel inside are always very welcoming. And my favorite part of the Fiddle heads is the outdoor seating options open year round. I love that in the winter I can still enjoy the "outside" while cozy and warm!“

“We ate here on 3/9. The food, cocktails and the service were amazing. Knocking a star off for the hostess who told us we needed to be out of there by a certain time. The kitchen got backed up so courses were coming out a little slow. This normally doesn’t bother me but since the hostess told us when we had to be gone, it ruined my ability to enjoy the entree and dessert as I was worried about getting out of there on time. It shouldn’t be something the hostess puts onto the patrons. It was our first time there and I am not sure about returning.“

“Well this was a delightful surprise! I attended a themed pop up here and it is absolutely charming. There is an incredible selection of beer and liquor. They even have quite a few mixed drinks available. All of the staff was absolutely wonderful even the guy checking IDs at the door had a smile on his face. It is cozy, comfy, and bright inside. I don't know why there's this trend of painting the interior of bars "stage black" but I'm glad sugar maple has bucked that trend. If I find myself near Milwaukee fancying myself a drink I will definitely make a return visit!“

“A cute corner shop providing top tier service, delectable nibbles and quality sips! So far, everything I've had has been great. My personal favorite/go-to is the lox bagel with a side salad. It's a delicious combination that hits the spot every time. I enjoy their indoor environment when it's not too crowded otherwise it can get a bit noisy. Their outdoor seating in the warmer months makes for a great setting to enjoy a nice meal, a cup of coffee, and the warm weather. “Love this place!! As the daughter of a baker I will always support local bakeries and luckily this one is so close to my house and so good!! If you want a donut or pastry make sure to get up early, because they don't last long! I love the cinnamon rolls (have just the slightest lemon flavor in the glaze which makes them so perfect!!) for breakfast with a cup of their coffee, the Italian cookies for an afternoon pick me up, and the hot ham and rolls on a Sunday! As for the burger, I went with the one with jalepeno aioli. What a perfect choice! I used absolutely no ketchup yet the burger had a great mixture of flavors and texture. “The best and most authentic Tabouleh in not just the state, but possibly in the Midwest. You will typically see cheap or poorly made Tabbouleh made with at least 80% Bulger wheat to save money... not this fresh, deep green masterpiece with the perfect amount of little white flecks of chewy wheat they create here. Add to that that there's a falafel pita that comes with both taboulah and baba ganouj by default. Both of those are usually "extra" if even offered at all at other places, both are so critical to making a great sandwich. That makes the pitas they have here a steal, and being located in pubmar just makes it all the better.“

“The food at Anytime Arepa is spectacular! I cannot say enough about how good their food is, especially their Arepas. Empanadas are also very nicely done. And, being all gluten free is a huge plus! First of all, all masa based Arepa and empanada dough is just much more flavorful than flour based.“
