As an Italian who lives in Chicago I know good Italian food and this is truly amazing. Definitely worth a visit, we’ll definitely be coming back next time we’re in town!“

“Came upon this little gem when looking for a place to have some drinks before a show and so glad we did! This place is so cute, it’s small but it’s very nice inside and has that nice feel of comfort. When we got there it was slow but it quickly got busy and the bartender, Christina, was the only one there besides the cooks and she ROCKED it. She remained collective and calm during the rush that came out of nowhere. The food is also amazing, while we only had a couple of apps, the burgers looked insanely delicious and we are definitely going back to try them.“

“I've been curious about this fresh food vending machine for a while now. I was in the airport where everything is more expensive and with smaller portions. I follow a plant based diet and have limited options at this airport. The screen told me to use the app to save money so I did. The app was extremely easy! I could see all the options with pictures and full descriptions like a menu. I ordered a salad along with a wrap because they looked small. I was wrong the salad was large! On the side of the machine you can take a bowl, napkins, and eating utensils. The screen is user friendly but I enjoyed the details in the app. In the end I got a coupon from using the app and found a discount code online that I also added to my order as well. Once i completed my purchase the app gave me a code that I put in on the vending machine and I then received my order. The food was extremely fresh my salad was cold and crisp! I was surprised at how much food was in the salad container. Each component was fresh and delicious. I was not expecting all this at an airport or from a vending machine. I will definitely seek out this vending machine in the future unfortunately they are not in my current area.

“We went for breakfast and was amazed when we got inside. It's a brick building, with 2 different sections. Cafe in one area and the cheese, sausage shoppe in another. Love the decor and the employees are very friendly. My husband and I had the American breakfast and it was so very good! Loved the potatoes the most. I rec'd 4 slices of bacon and my husband had the sausage link. It was very big, with a slight sweet taste. We will go back sometime.“

I was sick all throughout the night and into the morning. I notified them before they opened the next day. Said the octopus was a lot chewier than normal and one bite tasted off. Response was more or less, “thanks, we’ll talk to the staff and investigate.” No apology and never heard back. I wrote back a few days later for a follow up, but that message was ignored. “For DECADES, the Gerndt Extended Family has patronized and enjoyed getting together at Family Table. It was my Parents' favorite place to go and they were very regular customers there. When in town and since I moved back here from Ioea to help care for my parents in their last years, they lived to 95 with Alzheimers, up until the very end I took them to Family Table where we were always treated very well. We especially love the portions having another meal or two to take home, and previously free desserts with the meal which understandably due to the economy even many years ago, that bonus was stopped. But we still love there dessert assortments with me loving their Strawberry Cheeseake! My daughter and I especially carry on our Family Tradition at Family Table, getting together with my son and his wife, my sisters, my nieces, friends. We would love to see them open again on Sundays as it was a great place to go after Church. Hopefully they can get staff to open Sundays again. Even during the Pandemic we loved the way they all learned and properly wore their masks as we continued to patronize Family Table using their carry-out, especially their Friday Night Fish Fries which are spectacular!!! Today, my sister and her husband are here from Lake of the Ozarks near Camden, MO, and where did sister invite us to meet? Yup. Family Table! Great Food, Reasonable Prices, Large Portions, Excellent Service, Wonderful, Comfortable Relaxing. Quaint Atmosphere. I had the Pork Chops Special, w Pork Chops fried covered in mushroom onions gravie meal which included my Baked Potato with Butter and Sour Cream, Salad, and Corn. Super Delicious!!! I have not been able to frequent the Family Table for several months due to medical issues, but as things get better I/we will be back for sure on a regular basis.
