“Wife and I went for a long walk along the east side then decided to look for a sushi restaurant. Found this place close by. We ordered 5 different rolls and some veggie Stirfry w a side of rice. Everything was excellent! We had a great experience. Reasonable prices. We would go back.“

“I’m a frequent FreshFin customer, and I was extremely excited that R & R had gluten-free sweet shoyu!! 😱 My custom bowl was perfect, and there are a lot of really interesting bowls on the menu. Lots of options for different styles, a variety of sides, AND boba tea! ✨ Super friendly staff too, I’m new to the area excited I have a new spot!!“

“Always enjoy this place. On my last visit, I wanted to try something different, so along with some sushi and hibachi, I tried the tonkotsu ramen. I have to unfortunately say it was some of the most bland ramen I have ever had. The other issue was the noodles. They were like chewing glue. On the plus side, everything else was as good as it always is.“

“Kyoto's food is always consistent, tastes fresh, and priced well. The staff is always so nice and very knowledgeable about celiac. I took my son (14), and he ordered a specific roll. The waitress said that they switched to a different brand of seafood in that particular food option and wasn't positive it may still be gluten-free. 5 stars every time.“

“Our habachi cook was so amazing and was so fun! The prices are pretty reasonable for the amount of food you get. A kids meal is $17 for chicken or $19 for steak and you get a giant mound of food for the price. The service here is amazing and the food is too!“

“So great I had to share! I went in after a long day at work and ordered a bowl to go. I walked outside and it slipped out of my hands and all over the street. I was so frustrated and upset, but I went back inside to buy another bowl. I explained my situation and NOT ONLY did they give me a new bowl for free, BUT GAVE ME A RICE CRISPY TREAT TO CHEER ME UP!❤️ I’m not sure what the lady’s name was that helped me, but that was the best customer service I have ever had. 100% recommend this place! “They have the best ramen that I have ever had. I don't eat pork, so it can be hard to find pork-free ramen that's flavorful. This bowl is so tasty on its own that you do not need to add any meat (or tofu) to it. I've ordered other things, but usually wish I had just stuck with the ramen cuz it's that good. Unless you can stand a lot of heat, go with the mild which is still pretty spicy. And I grew up eating Indian food, so heat is something I'm used to. And: Help support small businesses like Maki Yaki during this difficult time! You can get the ramen as take out...“

“RuYi never disappoints. The quality of the food is always excellent. Portion sizes will please everyone. They have expanded RuYi's into two locations within the casino. The old Buffet area has been converted to a RuYi and Fire Pit combo to-go service or pick-up and dine-in this large area. While the long lines were worth the wait, you no longer have to stand around in the lobby. Simply order At the front register and then go in and grab a seat, and get a free soda, visit with your friends or family, and it will bring it to your table. Check out these photos. “We are locals and regular patrons of NaNa. In several vacations out of town we have ordered from sushi places, assuming we would get something of similar or a superior quality than what we were used to. We have been disappointed time and time again in other restaurants. It turns out no one can live up to the quality and tastiness of our hometown favorite, Nana in Shorewood. I think we will stop trying when we are on vacation and just be happy when we get home to Milwaukee to be able to have Nana sushi again. It is excellent quality, delicious, and reasonably priced. We have ordered both sushi rolls and dinners such as sesame chicken countless times. If it was socially/financially appropriate to eat there every night we probably would. Thank you Nana, we didn’t realize how lucky we were to have the best sushi restaurant around just down the street from us!“
