Very nice little coffee, sandwich and ice cream shop in the Shops at the Lodge. Previously occupied by the Chattering Squirrel which moved to a larger place down the street. Friendly staff and a nice assortment of coffee and tea.
Who needs "Ben & Jerry's"? This place may not have as many choices as B&J, but choice can be overrated when you get ice cream of such superior quality as this! I didn’t try the coffee, but the gang I was with the day I visited said it was equally good. I/we will definitely be coming back.

Perfect place to pull off the highway for breakfast on a road trip. The veggie bagel was yummy, and they proposed the addition of hummus when I told them I was vegan. I think other items could easily be veganized without too much brouhaha. Because it was the morning I didn't check for vegan ice cream/ sorbet so not sure what they have. Super kind staff and adorable bake shop in the middle of rural Wisconsin. Updated from previous review on 2023-08-04
