Always a favorite place for lunch while in The Door

Tonight we had another amazing dinner at the Boathouse on the Bay. We started with their amazing hostess Kendall. She was absolutely delightful and accommodating . Then we were greeted by Sam at the bar, he was a very good bartender and made a good cosmo! :) For dinner we had salmon and ribs. Our server was Maddie who was an excellent server. This wasn’t our first time here but their great service and food is why we return!

Best lobster roll I’ve ever had. And the service was outstanding!

The food is good. The beans where cooked in a red pepper with a little spice. The blackened white fish was cooked well with a great flavor. And French fries were seasoned good. It wasn't too comfortable. The environment was uninviting.

Excellent views and pretty great food.
However - the place is ALWAYS super crowded and the wait times are incredibly long. The service was average and the host was not very accommodating but I think that was likely because the place was so crowded.

The food is good but we were shocked at the price. They defiantly have tourist prices here! Two meals, no drinks, dessert, and cheese curds were over $100 with the tip!!! The service was kind of slow too.

FANTASTIC! Fantastic views, fantastic food, fantastic staff, fantastic everything. The lobster mac and cheese is incredible. So many big pieces of lobster, too. The poboy is also delicious. The cherry mule is a classic for the area and glad I got that. Highly suggest when in the area. Prices are pretty good! Free parking in the back.

My family ate here over Labor Day weekend. The food was outstanding, as well as the specialty cocktails. They were very busy and our friendly waitress still managed to give us great service. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Sister Bay.

Cajun boil and eat shrimp and whitefish are very good . Not too expensive.

We were there on a Sunday evening, the food was delicious as usual. However the service was poor. We had a drink at the bar before dinner and after being seated, our male waiter never asked if we wanted another drink with dinner, never asked if we needed anything after he brought our food to us and never checked on us at all. He brought our bill and we had to ask him about dessert after we sat for a period of time waiting for him to return. I mentioned this to one of the two hostesses on our way out and she just said okay. We noticed lots of standing around and hanging at the bar. Very disappointing as we saved this restaurant for our last meal in Door County.

I gave it 4 stars because of the view. We sat upstairs because we heard live music. They had a guy playing guitar to blues, rock and reggae. We tried onion rings for an appetizer that came with a spicy Cajun sauce. I had the whitefish dinner and it came with a salad. The salad was very good and huge! No crappy iceberg lettuce! Overall I liked it. I would say it's one step above you typical bar food
